It's possible to catch King Salmon all the way through September, but fishing for those big Kings is at its best in mid May, June and continuing into July.
Halibut and bottom fishing near Sitka is considered some of the finest in the world.
More salmon than you can shake a rod at! Silvers, Pinks, Sockeye and Chum Salmon are available July, August and September.

The Boat
Our 27' Sea Sport Seamaster is fully equipped with Raytheon electronics, G. Loomis Rods, Penn and Shimano Reels, Penn electric downriggers, Izorline products, and Gamakatsu hooks to ensure you get the most from Sitka's abundant waters. We guarantee your sportfishing adventure in the Alaskan Frontier is a memorable one!
For your comfort:
- Our boat has a heated cabin and marine head.
- You'll enjoy hot coffee, lunch and snacks on board daily.
- We fish no more than 4 clients per boat to ensure plenty of room for your catch.
- Each trip consists of eight to ten hours of fishing.
- If you want to bring your own gear, it will be welcome on board.
